Game of Thrones 6x10 'The Winds of Winter' TV TALK

I personally think this was just as good as episode nine! I know the ninth episodes are renowned for being the best but this finale really had me excited! I loved that we saw practically every single character and we've finally reached a point in the entire show that we've been waiting for since season one... it created a beautiful cliffhanger for season seven!

From North to South...
We had Bran. He's finally reached the wall with Meera and has now been taken in by the Night's Watch... time for a massive Stark family reunion, I think.
At Winterfell, Melisandre has been exiled from the North because Davos and Jon found out that she'd sacrificed Shireen. I feel so sad... Davos loved Shireen as if she were his own daughter and it breaks my heart. So, Melisandre's off Gods know where.

We also see Baelish which always makes me happy! Baelish wants the Iron Throne and Sansa beside him... gotta admire his taste in women even if it's a little creepy.
Jon is proclaimed King of the North but I think Sansa should be! She was the one to win the Battle of the Bastards and she'd be an amazing ruler! I don't think they've given her enough credit.
Over to Sam, he's finally reached Oldtown with Gilly and little Sam and he's found the library... I'll admit, the library made my heart happy. Let's hope Sam miraculously finds a way to defeat all the white walkers.
We saw the Twins in this episode and this had to be my favourite scene... Arya sneaks in and kills Walder Frey so brilliantly! Now that Arya has this face changing ability, anything can happen!! But I'm so happy that Robb has been avenged by a Stark... the North remembers...

We started the entire episode in King's Landing and everything was so eerie! The music, the shots... it was a beautiful start to this finale. And tragic. That too.
We had Loras' trial where he atoned and pledged his life to the Gods and then it was Cersei's turn but... she was nowhere to be seen. Neither was Tommen. Margaery was the first to pick up on it because Margaery was so damn intelligent and didn't deserve to die! But Cersei used Varys' network of kids to light up the wildfire and take the entire Sept off the grid. It's a good idea really... stuff all the people you hate into one room and blow them up. Problem solved.
But poor Tommen was crushed and committed suicide. I love how they showed his death... so quick and simple. So many deaths in this show are tense and built up and dramatic but Tommen's was so simple- I loved it! He simply strolled onto the screen and stepped off the building. Beautiful.

And now Jaime has returned and Cersei is Queen. Exciting times to come.
But they have enemies everywhere- including Dorne.
We saw a glimpse of Dorne with Ellaria and Olenna meeting up to discuss the vengeance they want against the Lannisters, and then Varys turns up and say they can have revenge with fire and blood! That's the Targaryen words!! Daenerys is building herself a power team- Ellaria and her sand snakes, Tyrell and all their resources to fuel a battle, Yara and her iron islanders, Unsullied, Dothraki, Tyrion and three dragons!!! Cersei might as well give up now!
Because Daenerys is coming and I'm so excited!
She's leaving Daario behind and has named Tyrion as Hand of the Queen! And now she's sailing over to Westeros and drama is about to go down!!!
