Game of Thrones 6x05 'The Door' TV TALK

This was an emotional episode in the grand scheme of things. I didn't personally cry but that's only because I'm heartless- I'm sure a lot of people did. The only time I've ever cried in this show is at certain colourful wedding... one colour in particular. I'll never get over that episode...

SPOILERS AHEAD- SPOILERS AHEAD- SPOILERS AHEAD- SPOILERS AHEAD- SPOILERS AHEAD
Starting in Essos, we had a proper Jorah and Khaleesi interaction which was nice. It seems like she's forgiven him which promotes the idea that, if a girl says no.... keep trying until she gives in- but let's sidestep that landmine. Because, in real life, that would appear to be stalking.... it's not like I even expected more from you, Jorah.
Daenerys has ordered him to find a cure so that he can be by her side when she takes the Iron Throne. I really hope Jorah doesn't die because he gives the show so much humour from his failures... bless him. He even told Daenerys he loved her! About time!

In Meereen, Tyrion started spreading the word that Daenerys was the cause of the violence ending just to save her reputation a bit. Also, we meet another Priestess like Melisandre which was interesting! Her name was Kimvara and it's so funny to watch her claim that Daenerys is who the Lord of Light is rooting for.... what about Stannis? And I thought Melisandre was convinced on Jon now? Honestly, it changes every episode. And Varys was not fooled. He was so sceptical and it was hilarious to watch.
Over in Braavos, Arya goes to see a play of the events we've had in King's landing which was entertaining in itself! I could've watched the whole Game of Thrones in that theatre parody- it was great! The whole time, she has her eyes on the actress Lady Crane and plans how she will kill her for the Many-Faced God.
Meanwhile, in Westerosi we spent a lot of time in the Iron Islands. Euron has been announced king of the Iron Islands after revealing his plans to seduce and join forces with our girl Daenerys... good luck with that, Euron. But Khaleesi does need ships...
Yara and Theon escaped as soon as Euron was announced king... with all his fleet!! I really hope they get to Daenerys first and strike a deal with her. It's so weird to think of these characters joining forces. You get so used to certain characters interacting with a select few and picturing Theon conversing with Khaleesi is mind blowing and weird to me. But it could happen.
We also saw Sansa in this episode as well as Baelish- two of my favourite characters! Sansa no longer trusts Baelish after what happened with Ramsay and Baelish sauntered off with his tail behind his legs. Sansa, Jon and the rest of our North crew have now gone off to build their army against Ramsay!! I'm so excited for this battle- it'll be epic!
Finally, we had Bran north of the wall. We find out that the Children were the ones to create the Night King and the White Walkers. Could that possibly mean that they can reverse it?
Bran wargs where he shouldn't, ends up surrounded by the White Walkers and the Night King sees him and touches him. This, for reasons that went over my head, allowed the Night King to find Bran and so he came after him... for more unknown reasons. Bran has a warg malfunction or something and Meera and Hodor are left to run away with him in tow.
And Hodor holds the door. And I didn't cry.... sorry.
When thinking about time travel, I confuse myself. Surely, there has to be a future version of Bran that had to be saved by Hodor by holding the door for Wylis to get screwed up and to only say Hodor when our Bran first meets him? It confuses me.

Thanks for reading! Feel free to comment your thoughts. Stay amazing!
