Game of Thrones 4x07 'Mockingbird' TV TALK

These last few episodes have been amazing and they just keep getting better! The end of this series is going to be amazing- I can tell.
I particularly loved Sansa in this episode. She's been through so much already and I really love seeing her character grow and develop so naturally. I think she could be a great ruler in the future... here's hoping.

SPOILERS AHEAD- SPOILERS AHEAD- SPOILERS AHEAD- SPOILERS AHEAD- SPOILERS AHEAD
I'm going to start with the events that happened in the Eyrie because these are the scenes that are entertaining me the most at the moment (despite my extreme dislike of Lady Arryn and creepy little Robin- mainly, I just like watching Sansa and Baelish).

After Robin throws a temper tantrum, Sansa slaps him (good for you, girl). Baelish moves on to kiss Sansa which Lady Arryn is definitely not happy about. She nearly shoves Sansa down the Moon Door as revenge but Baelish saves the day and lets Lady Arryn take a trip down it herself. Honestly, I was cheering at this point because I've been waiting for Baelish to through that crazy-pants down the Moon Door for so long and I felt super victorious when he did.
Errr......................
At King's Landing, it's all about preparing ourselves for Tyrion's trial by combat. Tywin and Cersei quickly enlist the Mountain to be their champion (shocker...) and, already, it's not looking good for Tyrion. Bronn refuses to be Tyrion's champion which broke my heart but I completely understand why. But then, we get a surprise champion from Oberyn which actually shouldn't have been that surprising because the Mountain raped and killed his sister (a fact that he ensures to remind us of whenever he's on screen).
Over the Narrow Sea to Daenerys, she had a bit of sexy time with Daario which you could tell Jorah got super jealous about.... #foreverfriendzoned

But he still manages to convince Khaleesi to give the masters in Yunkai a choice- live in her new world or die in their old one. Jorah's such a good influence on Daenerys.
Then we have a few other characters where not much really happened.
Arya and the Hound get attacked by some Lannister loyals who want the Hound dead, Melisandre announces that Shireen will join their journeys North and Jon Snow returned to Castle Black but gets his plans to close the tunnel rejected by Ser Alliser. Which all sounds super fun.
We also had some Brienne and Podrick scenes which I'm loving because they're so entertaining! They meet Hotpie who tells them that Arya is still alive and probably at the Eyrie.
So, now, we have Sansa and Baelish at the Eyrie, Arya and the Hound headed to the Eyrie and Brienne and Podrick going to the Eyrie. I need a reunion! Oh, pretty pretty please! The characters in this show are always on a journey searching for each other and they never find each other! Just this once can we have a happy scene where they're together? Am I being too optimistic?

Thanks for reading! Feel free to comment your thoughts. Stay amazing!
Chloe
