Game of Thrones 6x06 'Blood of my Blood' TV TALK

This episode was quite calm but intense at the same time. The big built scenes ended up being a bit anticlimactic but it was more funny because this show has you on the edge of your seat so much that they can afford to give you a little tease.

Starting with my Khaleesi, Daenerys didn't do too much other than rally the Dothraki that were already following her.... she used up the fire trick already so the dragon riding was in order! She delivered a very impressive speech and has insured that the Dothraki are on her side.

In Braavos, Arya chickens out of killing Lady Crane and has now fled from the House of Black and White.... she was too good for that place anyway!

I'm so happy she's out of there now and heading back to Westeros. But now Waif and Jaqen are hunting her.... I hope she kills them both which is probably easier said than done.
In Westeros, we see a glimpse of Walder Frey who we haven't seen in a long while... And he still has Edmure! I hate Walder Frey and hope he gets taken down completely! Frey's lost Riverrun and is determined to take it back from the Blackfish (Catelyn's uncle).
We had Sam take Gilly to Horn Hill and we got to meet his family! His mother and sister seem alright but his father, Randyll Tarly, isn't exactly soft. When he finds out that Gilly is a wildling he sends Sam away and where Sam goes, Gilly does. They're so damn cute- I ship them so hard.

Up north with Bran, he's a bit useless as usual. Meera is doing all the hard labour while he's having a warg malfunction. They get surrounded by white walkers but narrowly live because Uncle Benjen saves the day! They go on to have a bit of a chat with him but, honestly, I'm distracted by the fact that I'm now shipping Meera and Bran!!! I blame my brother- he planted the idea in my head- but now I'm slowly becoming obsessed with that prospect.
Finally, we have the events in King's Landing.
We start to think that Margaery is set to do her walk of atonement (and I'm sure many viewers were disappointed when that didn't work out) but Jaime and the Tyrell force come in to stop it and take the Sparrows down!!! Talk about anticlimactic....

Turns out Margaery had it all covered- she's clever, ya know?- and has already ensured that she doesn't have to do the walk of shame. She's 'converted' Tommen to the Gods and, apparently, that's atonement enough. Tommen is now all connected with the Gods and sends Jaime away because of his threats to the Sparrows.
So Jaime has been sent to sort out the Blackfish.... Brienne's gone to recruit the Blackfish forces for Sansa.... what are the chances of them meeting again?
