The Hamilton Book TAG

I haven't the foggiest idea why it took me this long to do the Hamilton tag when I have loved Hamilton for a good year and a half. Better late than never, I suppose. The original of this tag was done on Maureen Keavy's Booktube channel so I'll link her video in case you want to give it a watch. I originally saw the tag on Christine Riccio's channel, Polandbananasbooks, so I'll also link that- I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch.

What time is it? Showtime!

1. The Room Where it Happens: Book world you would put yourself in.
The Covenant series- Jennifer L. Armentrout
Of course Harry Potter is the obvious choice but I would also kill to be Hematoi and fight alongside kick-ass Alex and the rest of the Army of Awesome.

2. The Schuyler Sisters: Underrated Female Character
Cress- The Lunar Chronicles- Marissa Meyer
Cress may be super shy and awkward but she's also unbelievably cute and... a genius! She's so underrated because she's the most intelligent person ever and she needs recognition for it. Work! The crew wouldn't achieve anything without her- I don't know how they managed in the first two books.

3. My Shot: A character that goes after what they want and doesn't let anything stop them.
Adelina- The Young Elites- Marie Lu
Adelina sure doesn't let anything stop her- so much so that it could be considered unhealthy? This trilogy is very dark and Adelina as a protagonist interestingly blurs the lines of justice and evil. She definitely doesn't stray from her own goal though. She's passionately smashing every expectation! (but maybe not in a good way...)
I'm so sorry for subjecting you to this.

4. Stay Alive: A character you wish was still alive.
Fred Weasley. Enough said.
And if that was a spoiler for you, what have been doing with your life?

5. Burn: The most heartbreaking end to a relationship you've ever read.
It Ends With Us- Colleen Hoover
No spoiler. Just: This. Book.

6. You'll Be Back: Sassiest Villain
I need to go with a TV show for this one (though, they are also books). The Vampire Diaries have the sassiest villains imaginable. My favourite being Katherine and Kai- those two are amazing.

7. The Reynolds Pamphlet: A book with a twist that you didn't see coming.
The Dead List- Jennifer L. Armentrout
Have you read this?!? Dayummm!
This is a YA thriller/mystery book so of course it had a great twist!!

8. Non-stop: A series you marathoned.
I marathon quite a lot of books, actually.
Half Bad trilogy- Sally Green
I read the first book and physically couldn't stop myself from continuing the series. I flew through this one.

9. Satisfied: Favourite book with multiple POVs
November 9- Colleen Hoover
This book would not have worked without the two points of view. It's so beautifully intertwined and it is one of my favourite contemporaries. But this book could've done with another million or so pages...I will never be satisfied!

10. Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story: A book/series you feel like will be remembered throughout history.
Aside from Harry Potter (because that's the obvious choice).... Twilight? I feel like that will forever be a guilty pleasure for everyone. Don't lie. You love it, really.

BONUS QUESTIONS

11. Helpless: A relationship you were shipping from the very start.
Lara-Jean and Peter Kavinsky- To All the Boys I've Loved Before- Jenny Han
As soon as Peter strolled onto the screen, I fell in love, Their relationship is so pure and adorable! These books are the ultimate rom-com reads.

12. Ten Dual Commandments: Favourite fight scene.
Lysandra fight- Empire of Storms- Sarah J. Maas
It was a bit of an unconventional battle but it was the most epic fight sequence I've ever read. I was on the edge of my seat and I've never enjoyed a fight more. It made me feel so pumped and I felt like I could go and win a fight (that would've ended badly, though, because I'm a twig).

13. Say No To This: Guilty Pleasure Read.
The DUFF- Kody Keplinger
This will forever be the book that I devoured in one night and will always go to for a re-read.

14. What Comes Next?: A series you wish had more books.
Flawed- Cecelia Ahern
This is a duology but I would've loved to see more of this world and it's characters.

15. Right Hand Man: Favourite BROTP
TV SHOW ALERT- CHEATING, NOT CHEATING AS IT'S A BOOK TOO
Dalaric. (Damon and Alaric from The Vampire Diaries)
We've lost it a bit through the years and that saddens me to the core but these guys were the ultimate bromance- they even had a ship name.
If not them then, Rick and Daryl from The Walking Dead. TV shows have solid bromances, guys.

16. What'd I Miss?: A book or series you were late to reading.
Harry Potter- J.K. Rowling
I'm 16 and I only read these books last summer. It's shameful but at least I've read the now and no longer embarrass my family name.

Thanks for reading! Feel free to comment your thoughts! Stay amazing!
Chloe
