Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets- J.K. Rowling (Book of the Month)
Me and Kaitlin have decided to re-read Chamber of Secrets for our July Book of the Month because, on July 2nd, it's officially 20 years since the book released. I've only ever read the books once so I'm excited to give this one a re-read.
Thunderhead (Scythe #2)- Neal Shusterman
I read Scythe last month and loved it, so Thunderhead had to be my top priority this month. Scythe is a great example of a brilliant premise executed perfectly. Scythe has definitely had a lot of hype but I think it deserves every piece of praise it gets. It's smart, it's compelling and it's heart-stopping in the best way possible. I just hope that Thunderhead can keep the momentum going.
On Writing- Stephen King
I've had a bit of break from writing recently as I've just been re-reading my first draft (and trying not to delete it all in self-despair). But I want to get motivated before jumping into the first round of edits and this book is renowned for inspiring writers.
Thanks for reading! Feel free to comment your thoughts. Stay amazing!
Chloe
