June Book Haul 2016

This haul is going to be short and sweet and very contemporary based. I didn't get many books but I'm really excited to get to the ones that I have. Also, it's a bit of a tear-jerker month...

My Sister's Keeper- Jodi Picoult
Jodi Picoult is such a popular contemporary author and I've only read one of her books (Between The Lines- written with her daughter Samantha Van Leer). This is one of the better known books and I've wanted to read it for a while. And when the book is £1 in a charity shop...I couldn't resist.

Room- Emma Donoghue
This book has recently been adapted into a movie and it has had nothing but raving reviews. I haven't yet watched the movie and will read the book before doing so. Again, this was £1 in a charity shop so I couldn't not buy it.

Me Before You- Jojo Moyes
I have been hearing about this book so much lately! The movie starring Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin has recently come out and it's getting so popular. I've been to see the movie and it was truly stunning! (Yes, I am bad for watching the movie before reading the book). I'm so excited to read it and I'll keep a pack of tissues beside me the entire time!

That's it for this book haul.
Thanks for reading. Comment any books that you've got this month! See you soon,
Chloe x

    1. Oh, that's gutting! I'm hoping to get to it next month. Which is better: book or movie?
